The 24th Annual Sandcastle Days brought in a number of people from all over the Valley to see works of art carved with care by master sculptors and amateur artists over the weekend.

“Walking along the shoreline is like walking through a sandcastle museum,” said 12-year-old Sara Martinez on Saturday. “You know, like a wax museum, only sand.”

Visitors from as far as Mission came to take part in the various activities from watching the sand carving to partaking in arts and crafts, free sandcastle making lessons and sampling a seafood platter served up at sundown on Saturday.
