Pro bono vacation

Part of a group of about 40 students from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law was in the Port Isabel/ South Padre Island area this week doing pro bono legal services. Their work included informing people on a variety of issues such as immigration reform, and helping low income people on how to prepare a will. The group was in the Rio Grande Valley as part of a project sponsored by the Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid and the South Texas Civil Rights Project.                   (Staff photo by Antonio Vindell)
