After spending the better part of three hours discussing matters in closed session Tuesday evening, the Point Isabel School Board of Trustees moved swiftly through a number of housekeeping items in open session.
Up first was the approval of the District’s improvement plan. Newcomer to the board, Alicia Baldovinos, asked for a clarification of what the improvement plan entailed. Mickey Furcron explained it as a broad statement of goals the board hopes to accomplish. The improvement plan was approved unanimously.
