During the months of July and August, Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church is celebrating an additional Mass at 2 p.m. in Spanish for visitors primarily from Mexico. Everyone is welcome. The regular Mass schedule includes services Saturday at 5 p.m., and Sunday at 8 a.m. in Spanish, and 10 a.m. and 12 noon in English.
The church is located at 705 South Longoria Street in Port Isabel.
The church offices will be closed on Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. There will be a Mass at 8 a.m., but no 5:30 p.m. Mass, according to Pastor Father Pat Seitz.
