PRESS Staff Report
A boy, believed to be about 5 years old, was spotted wandering the streets near the Port Isabel side of the Queen Isabella Memorial Causeway Friday. The child somehow got away from Garriga Elementary School. Police brought the young boy back to campus. The boy was looking for a ride home, according to a witness. A Garriga Elementary employee who did not wish to be identified said only that, “student safety is our number one concern and at the present time we are conducting a complete investigation.”
