Judge issues preliminary injunction in favor of Cornerstone Church

On November 24, Judge Andrew Hanen of the United States District Court issued a preliminary injunction in favor of the Cornerstone Church by the Bay over the Town of Bayview following a unanimous vote by the Bayview Board of Alderman in June to enforce a zoning ordinance passed in 2009 prohibiting churches and schools within the area. The order would have essentially zoned the small Bayview church out of existence.
