The communities of Port Isabel and Laguna Vista each held ceremonies on Monday to honor Memorial Day and remember those who have fallen in combat. Also included in the slideshow are: photos taken on Saturday morning when members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8791 and American Legion joined local Boy Scouts in placing flags at the headstones of Port Isabel veterans who are buried in the city cemetery; and pictures taken during Laguna Vista’s Memorial Day Parade, held on Monday afternoon.
