Scheduled meetings and workshop sessions are slated here as Laguna Vista officials delve into a process designed to result in development of the Town’s parks’ system.

The Town’s Parks and Recreation Board will meet Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. at City Hall to establish groundwork on improvements to Roloff Park, a walking trail and youth sports facility. That meeting will be followed with a joint workshop session on Nov. 1 between the Parks Board and the Town Council to further hash-out plans.

On Nov. 8, at the Town’s regular monthly meeting, the Parks Board is expected to present to the Town Council their completed recommendations for parks development that will be funded in part by the recently approved $1.5 million certificates of obligation.
