Rabies and Micro-
Chipping Clinic
This update is going to focus on the rabies clinic which will be at the Port Isabel Animal Clinic on Oct. 15. The clinic is located at 407 E. Maxan St. The rabies clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. The vaccine, which is required by law, is only $9 per animal.
There are additional vaccines at reduced prices which include: the DHP-P is $18 and is a vaccine against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, and Parafluenza for dogs; and Leukemia RCP for cats which is $23. This vaccine helps fight Rhinotracheitis, Calcivirus and Panleukopenia.
