On July 5, Surfrider Foundation South Texas Chapter will be holding the Morning after Beach Cleanup at Isla Blanca Park to start off the summer of beach litter awareness. The group will be meeting at the DJ Lerma Pavilion at 9 a.m. and volunteers are encouraged to attend.
Surfrider is stepping up its efforts to lead by example and show the people of the Rio Grande Valley and Cameron County leaders that it is serious about wanting this issue taken care of.
