Join Surfrider for the Fifth Annual International Surfing Day Children’s Surf Clinics.These two free surf clinics will introduce children to the sport of surfing, the wonderment of the oceans, waves and beaches and the importance of protecting them. Surfboards, lunch and t-shirt provided. The event will be at Isla Blanca Park on South Padre Island on June 20, from 8:30 – 11 a.m. and 12:30 – 3 p.m. and is free, but children must register in advance.
The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers in Malibu, California, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 60,000 members and 100 chapters worldwide.
