Laguna Vista Town Council members are expected to accept City Attorney Janice Cassidy’s resignation Tuesday as they meet in regular session at 6 p.m. in City Hall.
Cassidy reportedly submitted a letter of resignation to officials on Friday. Action to appoint an interim town attorney is also scheduled.
A related item on the agenda calls for action that would authorize the city manager to solicit formal qualifications for a firm to provide legal services to the town.
